DEVELOPMENTS - JAN 2025

I have done a lot of work behind the scenes and a ton has happened in the past 6 months to a year. I can go over the more personal stuff in another post, but I won’t get into that much detail. 
Main thing is- it’s taken a lot to make MEGAPUNK the brand happen, on all sorts of levels, despite it still being very much a work in progress. What I have in store following the GRID & CPU is so much more exciting. I know the grid ain’t for everyone but that is what really made me think of the possibilities of what I could do within fashion and beyond. 

The Grid itself is the first design I made years ago before I really decided on the mission and reason behind MEGAPUNK. Down to the roots, the GRID is based on 80s and 90s design elements and aesthetics. I especially referenced the setting in one of my favorite movies TRON, which really influenced me and why I decided to make this. Albeit the placement is a point of controversy and criticism, I genuinely like the grid element in that time period, representing the future and all that.

The CPU is a great representation of where the brand is headed, more tech and cyber elements that are more prevalent and tasteful, with innovation behind it. The angles of both of these with the cuts are semi primitive with the straight lines but at the same time I see it as something that will stand the test of time and representing eras past and now present. 

Tons of great things coming soon. Lots of developments, and I can’t wait to share it with the world.
